Mountainbiking in Costa Verde - Sardinia
The Costa Verde is an area along the South West coast, so called due to its very prosperous Mediterranean vegetation which runs down from the mountains, crossing valleys and sandbanks towards the sea. It is the perfect setting for a superb Mountain Bike holiday in Italy and have now become Sardinia’s most prestigious MTB destination! Amongst the stunning Mediterranean scenery, we’ll ride wooded trails, remote mountain passes and thrilling singletracks to come across old and fascinating mining villages, up to the rugged profile of the coast.
Day 1. Arrival
Arrival at Cagliari/Elmas airport and Transfer to your accommodation in Montevecchio.
Day 2. Old mines and dunes - Distance 35 km, total climb 830 mt.
Day 3. Ingurtosu and Naracauli single track - Distance 35 km, total climb 920 mt.
Day 4. From Montevecchio to Fighezia - Distance 42,5, total climb 1000 mt.
Day 5. Buggerru and Portixeddu beach - Distance 31 km, total climb 880 mt.
Optional extra loop. Distance 20 km, total climb 550 mt.
Day 6. Cala Domestica and Nebida - Distance 48 km, total climb 1150 mt.
Day 7. Monte Agruxiau and Porto Flavia - Distance 29 km, total climb 1050 mt.
